Kami Mickens, Founder

Kami Mickens is the Founder of KamiMickens LLC, an airport concessions company specializing in food, beverage, and retail operations, established in January 2024. She brings over 10 years of airport operations experience, beginning her career at DFW International Airport in 2013, and is SBEC certified.

Kami has extensive multi-unit leadership experience across nationally recognized food, beverage, and retail concepts including Chick-fil-A, Panda Express, Smoothie King, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Qdoba, and Jersey Mike’s, as well as airport-specific grab-and-go and retail formats. Throughout her career, she has led teams of 100+ employees across multiple units, driving operational consistency, performance, and service excellence in high-volume environments.

In February 2025, KamiMickens LLC acquired six food, beverage, and retail locations atHarry Reid International Airport, including Jersey Mike’s, Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs, LuckyStreak Bar, and two Fresh Market On-The-Go retail locations.

Kami attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, strengthening her connection to the North Texas region and the communities she serves through airport operations.
